Hello Cake Therapy community! Here’s the true story of how it all began: we are Martina and Paola, two cousins who, to everyone’s surprise, decided to pursue careers as pastry chefs and make Barcelona, the most incredible city in the world, our home. At first, the idea wasn’t entirely clear, but what we both knew was that we wanted to create something fun and creative together in the world of baking. After countless late-night chats accompanied by cakes and wine, the idea was born: Why not offer cake decorating workshops? It all started small, right in Martina’s kitchen. But before we knew it, we were getting more and more requests, and we realized there was a huge demand. By the second or third workshop, our students kept telling us how therapeutic and relaxing the activity was. That’s how the name “Cake Therapy” came to be! We’re so grateful for this amazing year, for meeting so many creative people who share our passion for trying new things. It’s been a joy to watch everyone decorate their cakes with such creativity! We’re excited to keep growing, sharing our love for cake decorating, and inspiring others to try something new. Who knows, maybe we’ll inspire a home baker to bake and decorate more often for their friends and family! Thank you all for your support and love! We’re thrilled to make our goal a reality by creating themed, fun workshops in a safe and creative space for everyone.
